Job Description
As we expand our product portfolio, we’re seeking a talented and experienced Data/ML/LLM/Prompt Engineer with strong data science expertise to join our France-based team and work on advancing the AI capabilities embedded within our SaaS platform and play a key role in building our SaaS cloud service for IoT security and product certification. This is a full-time position with flexibility for on-site, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll be a vital member of our agile, cross-functional team, reporting to the Engineering Lead. You will collaborate closely with our in-house experts, including our Senior AI Master Yoda Engineer, to optimize existing AI models and implement new use cases.
This role requires both strong technical skills and a deep understanding of AI technologies, particularly around Large Language Models (LLM) and prompt engineering. In addition, the ideal candidate should have professional data science experience, allowing them to handle data manipulation, analysis, and model development within the context of AI solutions. The position also demands a background in cybersecurity, ensuring that AI-driven applications are secure and reliable
Key Responsibilities
- AI Use Case Development
* Enhance existing AI use cases integrated into our SaaS platform, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability.
* Implement new AI use cases that improve the functionality of our product, leveraging LLM technologies.
* Collaborate with the development team to integrate AI use cases into our existing infrastructure, using Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL.
- Prompt Engineering
* Design and refine prompts to improve the accuracy, relevance, and efficiency of AI responses across various use cases.
* Develop a deep understanding of the behavior of AI models, experimenting with different prompt strategies to achieve optimal results.
- Data Science & Analysis
* Apply data science techniques to process, analyze, and manage data for AI training and optimization.
* Conduct statistical analysis, model testing, and validation to improve AI models and their performance in real-world use cases.
- Collaboration & Learning
* Work closely with our Senior AI Engineers (including our “Master Yoda”) to learn and implement best practices in AI development.
* Participate in regular knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
- Security Considerations
* Ensure that all AI solutions and use cases are designed with cybersecurity best practices in mind, protecting against potential vulnerabilities and data privacy issues.
Preferred Experience
Educational Background: Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Data Science Experience: Professional experience in data science, including data manipulation, analysis, and model development. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and techniques is highly desirable.
AI Expertise: Knowledge and experience with ML and LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI model fine-tuning. A background in AI engineering is highly desirable.
Software Development Experience: Expecting at least 8 years of confirmed and provable professional experience in software development; at least 4 of which in Node.js, Nest.js, Typescript and also 3 of which on Data Science, Machine Learning and LLM projects.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL.
Cybersecurity Awareness: A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and how they apply to AI technologies.
Great Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

Technical Interview: Then, You will be invited to a first interview where You will prove your technical competence by presenting some of your past projects, show off your problem solving skills as well as coding, Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL wizardry
